Michael Lee appointed as Head of Site at Rothamsted Research North Wyke

Michael Lee has been appointed to the position of Head of Site at the North Wyke Farm Platform. This senior level appointment at Rothamsted Research, the world’s longest-running agricultural research institute, is also a professorial-level joint appointment at the University of Bristol, which has a 20% share in the post. The North Wyke Farm Platform, a National Capability funded by the UK Biotechnology and Biological Sciences Research Council (BBSRC), is one of the original research sites (together with Future Farm 2050, Western Australia and Thiruvazhamkunnu – Silent Valley, Kerala) that inspired the Global Farm Platform concept. Michael will remain fully involved in the Global Farm Platform, as well as the related WUN and GII projects. Michael will take up his new appointment in March 2015.

Congratulations Professor Michael Lee!
