Rothamsted Research Signs GFP Statement of Intent

Professor Achim Dobermann, Director and Chief Executive of Rothamsted Research, the world’s oldest agricultural research institution signed the Global Farm Platform Statement of Intent at Rothamsted’s North Wyke Farm Platform, Devon UK, on Thursday 26th March 2015. At a small ceremony brief introductory presentations outlining the work of the Global Farm Platform and the North Wyke National Capability were given by Mark Eisler and Jennifer Dungait.

Professor Dobermann, also a member of the Leadership Council of the UN Sustainable Development Solutions Network, went on to deliver a well attended institutional seminar entitled ‘Sustainable agricultural intensification: how are we going to do it?’
